booking info

step 1. read all of the info below

step 2. DM @innerportals on instagram, or email wren.gleaf@gmail.com

the guidelines below are only intended to make our lives a little easier, i don't care if you don't follow all of them, but for every time you do you gain one cool point

how to book a flash piece:

have a scroll through the flash link above, and when messaging me you can reference the page number of the piece you'd like, or send a screenshot of it instead

describe any customizations to the piece you'd like - there is no extra fee or deposit for flash customizations

include roughly how big you'd like to get the piece in inches and where on your body. if you aren't sure, we can always play around with size and placement at your appointment

i'm most likely able to schedule on thursdays, fridays, and saturdays, at Royal Sword in grover beach. let me know what day/s you'd be available!

how to book a custom piece:

DM or email with a description of what you'd like, about how big in inches and where on your body. if you have a budget you're looking to spend include that too!

if you have something very particular in mind, including reference pictures is highly appreciated - these can be your own sketches, or screenshots of work that is similar to what you have in mind

custom work requires a non-refundable deposit of $40, paid at the time of booking your appointment, through venmo or cashapp. this deposit goes toward your overall piece rate (for example, if the piece overall will be $100, you pay $40 when booking and $60 at the appointment). i will not start to draw your piece until the deposit is sent.

i'm most likely able to schedule on thursdays, fridays, and saturdays, at Royal Sword in grover beach. let me know what day/s you'd be available!

cancellations and rescheduling:

if you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, at least 24 hours notice is ideal, otherwise please notify me as soon as possible

cancellations for custom pieces will not be refunded for any reason, unless you cancel before i've invested my time into drawing your piece (unlikely, because i get on that shit asap)

if rescheduling, deposits will still be valid for the new appointment date

i hope this goes without saying, but please do not take my work to another tattooer or use it in any other way without my explicit permission, Especially if it is custom work, you will be smited by at least 3 gods

preparing for your appointment:
before coming to the studio, make sure you're hydrated and nourished! your body will expend a lot of energy while getting tattooed, even though it might not feel like you're doing much. eat a solid meal beforehand and you can bring snacks and water if you're in for a long session, we can take as many breaks as you need

wear comfortable and practical clothes that will give easy access to the tattoo area. it's also a good idea to keep the skin in the tattoo area well-moisturized in the days leading up to the appointment

bring your ID and have payment ready - cash is coolest but i can also take venmo or cashapp

please communicate if there's anything i can do to make you as comfortable as possible during your tattoo session! i am always happy to answer questions about the tattoo process, and if you have sensory preferences or accessibility needs i can accommodate i would be happy to

notes on pricing:

please feel free to inquire about the prices of flash pieces or ask for an estimate for a custom before committing to booking an appointment!

i am in my first year of licensed tattooing, and more than anything i am hungry to create more tattoos and mark more skin, so i am more than willing to work with whatever your budget is if you ask niceys. depending on the piece, you can expect to pay from $60 to $200 for your tat, possibly more if you're after a very large/multi-session piece

if you're an artist or craftsperson or just have something you think i might like, i also accept trades along with a small fee to cover my shop commission. just ask! i like all art and trinkets and oddities and strange things, i collect cassettes cds and religious paraphernalia... you get the vibe

now go forth and book
